Disappearing Topiary

Sad to say the King Kong Topiary wasn't enough to save The Tavern on the Green Restaurant in New York's Central Park, closing due to bankruptcy.

Haven't ever visited but it looks nice, with lots of green accents.

Moo!

Amazingly, King Kong was very small, way in the back. The dining room seemed to be from another era. The look of the twenties or thirties perhaps?

A sad ending befits King Kong, Ms Cow. What a fool he was to fall in love with a woman.

Watercolor: yes it looks pretty from the pictures. Probably the only place in NYC that Cow might like to visit, these green spaces...

RJ: Ah, you've been there? How interesting that Kong was too small...especially the chandelier, it DOES evoke the 1890's parlor look. Was the food good?

Gorilla: had it only been Gorilla instead of Kong, there would have been a happy ending, surely.
