Home, and Facebook
It was nice to get home and see the geese in the road as always.
Cow's been considering this question of Facebook. To join or not?
Advantages: a lot of people seem to be on it.
Disadvantage: do you really want to put your real self out there to be found? If people had wanted to stay friends from high-school, for instance, wouldn't they have just stayed in touch?
Not sure what to do.
Moo!

I have Facebook. I think I have 9 friends all of whom are blogging buddies only. I log in once in a blue moon. I don't quite get the whole thing.
That does not really help you does it. Just confirms what you know deep down. Facebook, Myspace, Bebo, Twitter etc..etc..are mindless.
Unlike blogging.
PS: But you can be my Facebook friend if you do join!
I keep my facebook and my blogging completely separate. At least so far.
I'm on Faceook and log on perhaps once a quarter.
The real me is an addict!
My Facebook name is "Cousin Bananas" if you want to be my friend.
it is a tough decision, I got on Facebook when I had my child since it's a great way to broadcast photos.....BUT more often than not relatives you'd rather disown bug you to be friends. you can ignore them but then there's the whole "am I being rude?" thing. my mother and husband refuse to get on, I think in their cases it's a good thing.
If you do get on though I will be your friend, I promise not to ignore you :)

Linda: The thought of being your "Facebook Friend" is just about enough to make Topiary take this up!
(Topiary feeling very shyly honored by Linda!)
Meno: never the twain shall meet, eh?
Kevin: Once a quarter? Kinda like a bank statement then?
But Cow feels sadly that without knowing the real names of Blog Buddies she would never find them on Facebook. Unless maybe the Blog should be used to publicize the Facebook address?
Cow very unsure about all of this...
GB: AHA! As always, Gorilla comes out with a perfect answer--Cow will be looking up Cousin Bananas if she ventures into the Facebook world...
Kate: Cow feeling very honored too.
Who knew humble Topiary would have these nice offers of friendship?
Cow feeling happy and disappearing whistling a happy tune...
Moo!
