Aussie Corner
Pretty sure Peter Walsh is from Australia. Anyway, picked up How to Organize and figured he, or his editor, are on some interesting drugs.
How else to explain a book which transitions from how to organize drawers, bills, and filing cabinets and then proceeds to How to Tour the Louvre, How to Prepare for a Terrorist Attack, How to Survive an Ebola Outbreak?
Then, opening the revered Clarion-Ledger this morning, found a story on Peter Terry and his wife, who traveled from their home in Bathurst, New South Wales, to receive treatment for post thrombotic syndrome from vascular surgeons in Mississippi.
Small world. But organized, very, very well organized.
Moo!

Did he put the Mona Lisa in the sock drawer with the receipts?
Hee hee.
Moo!
Is the book worth taking a look at?
No, no, no. I am not even going to think about reading it. After 45 years of finally accepting my own special organised chaos I am just going to continue the way I am.
I now know where to find all the things that I put away. Nobody else can find them, but I can.
Watercolor: Cow thinks the book is intended to be bought as some kind of quick-reference...
If you are looking to organize or de-clutter his other book, It's all too much, or any other home cleaning/organizing book, would be better.
Linda: Agreed. The problem with these massive cleaning/decluttering projects is you then don't know where you put things, either that or you threw them out, so they're not there when you need them.
Moo!
Ah. Okay. I do the flylady concept of tackling things a little bit at a time anyway. Was wondering if he had good tips.
well, he did say "just about anything"
Perhaps you need his assistance with topiary world domination?
Watercolor: Tackling things in small bits is a good idea....before they become monsters.
Daisy: Yes, there is a chapter in there about organizing demonstrations. (Topiary getting posters and permits!)
Moo!
