One Enchanted Evening

For one shining moment, our eyes met.

Then, he was gone.

Down the back of the couch. Darn it.

Cow's tried and true system of the big box and the broom isn't working. There's a mouse in the house.

In the fold-out couch. That has springs and a mattress. Cow gingerly tried to fold it out but was afraid of crunching mouse. So, we're on Day 2. Defcon One. Red Alert.

Aside from gazing longingly at the general couch area, the cats are no help. Cow just hopes mouse comes out before the Rescue Operation turns into a Recovery Operation. Ugh.

Cow will be off-line for the holiday for several days. Have a great one, everyone, and watch your back. Should Mouse decide to Move, he might turn up in your neighborhood.

Moo!

Apply alcohol and leave on dishes in the floor. The house mouse will soon become a souse, and much easier to catch.

Have a nice time where ever you are. You best hope that the mouse does not bring a friend over - that would mean trouble.

Hope Cow had a lovely Thanksgiving, especially since the main dish is turkey.
I feel your pain about the rodent situation. We have been invaded and the sorry cats that live here apparently don't want mouse breath.
Moo!

Hey, it's cold outside and warm in the couch; would you move if you were the mouse?

Gorilla: Cow is in awe of your powers, and will enlarge her horizons with a bit of construction activity.

Tim:
Welcome to my blog. The thought of tipsy mice is a glad tiding in the holiday season!

Linda:
Cow is figuring the cat brought in the mouse, for the Topiary Mansion is sealed, tight as a drum. Except for the cat doors.

Heather:
Somehow Cow thinks Heather's cats and Cows cats would be friends.

Dog:
You have hit the nail on the head.

Super:
Yes, no mouse in sight.

Moo!

So strange when one is sure that one left a note and then, upon returning, it is not there, which means I obviously neglected to notice a button or a secret code or something.

Oh, well, my mouse-related bon mots are lost....

Daisy,

Cow is very sorry a post disappears and wants to assure her that Topiary does not remove them...apparently something must have gone wrong.

Topiary is sure she would have enjoyed the bon mots!

Moo!
