Late Night TV

Whew. Cow tuned into Letterman, Leno and Craig Ferguson last night to hear their take of McCain pulling out of the debate and the billion-dollar bailout.

These guys pull no punches. "Robbery" it was called. "Coward"was implied.

Things really got nasty after McCain cancelled his appearance on Letterman to "rush to the airport" then was seen to be getting makeup to go on Katie Couric's show.

Now, see, that's against the Man Code. Even this female Topiary knows that! You don't cancel one date just because you got a better offer from a cuter guy.

It just isn't done. Cow bets Letterman will be sharpening his pencil on McCain for a long time to come.

Moo!

A man should understand if another man breaks a date with him to see a lady instead. Letterman is a sissy.

Ah.

Cow bows to GB's deep understanding of Man Code and Guerrilla War of Dates...

Why, of course. Come to think of it, Katie IS cuter than Letterman. Or at least strives to be.

Moo!

No, I'm afraid Mr. Bananas is wrong.

Mind you, if he'd broken the date for a drink, a cricket match or to have a play on a train set then that would have been OK.

Heck, Dave went on and on about Oprah for a year. McCain shoulda known better. He'll hear about this for a long long time. He could at least have been HONEST about why he couldn't do the show instead of lying they showing up on another show.
