Underachieving
Cow stopped into the Local Library today to return some books, and seized the moment to utilize the computers.
While really, really trying to keep her eyes on her own computer, she nevertheless peeked at the screen of the lady on the left.
Who is reading things in Japanese. And has a copy of TS Eliot Murder in the Cathedral next to her keys and cell phone.
Thus, Cow's blogging, email checking and various site visiting is seeming so inconsequential by comparison (Cow not reading Japanese, or really, any other languages too well).
But wait a minute, what's she reading now? It's a Sparks Notes cheat-sheet summary site about the TS Eliot book. Ha!
Cow not feeling quite so superficial after all.
Moo!

'Murder in the Cathedral' - ptcha! lowbrow fare. (-:
Cow thinking Watercolor is right....
Times change, Doghouse...(Cow also fondly remembering Cliff's Notes, which often were just as difficult as the book you were supposed to read)
Cow is in awe of Kevin's well-read-ness.
Moo!
An aside ... Blogger now lets you translate your posts into Arabic. I may try it one day, for $h!ts and giggles. See what the boss says.
Mary Witzl, who comments on my blog, is an American lady who is fluent in Japanese. She would never use a cheat-sheet, though.
Sandi, Cow wondering whether the social context would translate well, but agrees it would be a giggle.
GB, Cow is certain that NONE of Gorilla's esteemed readers would EVER use a cheat sheet...
(Cow quickly consulting notes on spelling "esteemed")
Moo!
I agree with Watercolor - she was trying to look smart!
Cow is pretty smart and observant herself!
I would use a cheat sheet but I'd need somebody to write it on my shirt cuffs for me.
(Cow quickly writing "How to Blog" notes on her Topiary cuffs)
Miss M, Cow thanks you for the compliment (blushes).
Moo!
