Obsessions

One of the best things about the Internet is knowing that no matter what your obsession of the moment, somebody (or many somebodys) out there have it worse.

For instance, every review, interview and article about everybody who has ever been in Fleetwood Mac. Indexed, scanned, and arranged chronologically. Whew.

Cow watched a DVD from the box of Coldplay live. And it left her cold. But reading some of these interviews gave the answer. Yes, it's about the music, but it's also about being sexy. Which Fleetwood Mac has, and all-guy groups just don't.

Moo!

I had my formative years ruined by my sister and her friends, and female friends of my own, banging on about how lovely (sigh) The Osmonds/The Eagles/The Bay City Rollers?etc. etc. ad nauseam (the work of a moment).

Of course, that's more about appealing to womenfolk while their hormones are in developmental flux and not about being sexy.

Something in my gut told me that Coldplay were overrated. This is why I cannot not name a single one of their songs.

Kevin, Cow offers her condolences (Bay City Rollers, shudder)

GB: Yes, their songs all sound the same. Chris Martin is a good looking guy but there is just no magic there.

At least for this Cow. Perhaps if he were to add some Topiary to his set it would brighten it up a bit.

Moo!

Justin Timberlake, former boy band falsetto, swears he brought sexy back. Whatever the heck that's supposed to mean ... He never had it in the first place.

Sandi: he's brought it back because he's not used it and would like to get his money back if only he could find the receipt.
