Broad Street is okay after all...

Broad Street Bakery makes bread, and Cow thought she would stop by there ....

...snip!....

In the interests of World Harmony, Topiary Symmetry and the ongoing pleasure of a life filled with nice things instead of crummy things, Topiary has pruned this blog entry....

Why? Because, as her revered blog posters noted, Jeff Good is a really nice guy, is trying to do good things for the neighborhood, and he called Cow to apologize.

So, all is forgiven and Cow will happily be trundling back to Broad Street to enjoy their bread and hopes everyone else will too!

Moo!

I hope you replied back to him that perhaps he meant to send it to someone else. Good heavens!! At dinner time, that place is a zoo!!

So glad you shared that. They certainly won't have to worry about me crowding up their parking lot any time soon. That is completely unacceptable for a business owner. I can see it from minimum wage employee, but not anything above that.

So he thought he was insulting Dan Blumenthal rather than you? Maybe you should forward his e-mail to its intended recipient.

Oh my goodness!! I am so terribly disappointed! That is inexcusable.

Did you reply? I hope so. I hope he realizes his seemingly innocent actions do have actions.

Go to Great Harvest Bakery and get their cracked pepper swiss bread. You'll never look back.

Dear Topiary, how unforgivably rude. Can you tell them haughtily you will never shop there again - or is the bread too nice? Love scones xx

Cow's mouth is watering at the thought of cracked pepper swiss bread (Topiary-mobile swerving uncontrollably towards Great Harvest)

Cow's mailbox has received two apologies, one from Dan Blumenthal and two from Jeff Good.

So maybe they are okay after all.

(Topiary sniffing haughtily per scones)

Jeff is a friend of mine and can be very high strung and say things before he thinks. And his comment was inexcusable. It should never have been said period. Never mind that he accidentally sent it to you, he never should have said it. Very glad they apologized. If Great Harvest Bakery wasn't so far from me, I'd go there just because their breads are so freaking fabulous!!!!!!!

Sniffing haughtily at scones? Whatever do you do for Wednesday tea?

Cow is looking forward to Wednesday tea (today is Wednesday)

As a matter of fact, she has a little shopping list for scones....

Cow appreciates Watercolor's insight (and indeed all her blog comments) and in her humble Cow fashion has always believed in the innate goodness of all Topiary as well as people....even those at bakeries.

Moo!
