The Plan

From these hard lessons, here's Cow's plan for the future.

1. It seems anytime you go to sell a house with a deadline, such as a start date for a new job,  you are at a disadvantage.

2. Remedy: sell house first. Take years to do it if necessary. After it sells, move someplace temporary (small condo, or rental) and then and only then look for a new job.

3. When you get the new job, you can move without having to sell under a deadline.

This is Cow's plan and she's sticking to it.

Oh TC, I'm sorry you had to go through all that.
[sigh]
Crooks, thieves, predators ... this is a dangerous world.
I hate that you passed on what sounded like a fantastic job opportunity in the process.
What of your job here? Has your Realtor experience pulled you (personally) from feelings of contented discontent at work?

While I'm sad all of this has happened to you, I am glad you're still here with us!

Gorilla:(Cow stuffing cute dotted underwear into large duffle, and slinging backpack filled with special Cow Treats across her shoulder) It's off to Bolivia with GB! Moo! Coming!

Sandi:Yes, Cow is sad about not being able to moooove to take good job in the Far North. Cow hopes that in a year or two will be able to find another job there.

And, perspicacious Sandi, you are so, so right.

After this experience, Cow is thanking God every day for having a job, not being sued to force the cheap sale of the house, and for not losing 50K on the sale due to crooked realtors.

Doghouse: Thank you! Cow is now a wiser and more careful Cow, and appreciates all your support and insights (even though you are a dog.

Moo!
