Pocket

Cow came across an elderly "Pocket Book."

Not only did paperbacks used to be cheap, they also used to actually fit into pockets. Yes. True. Cow tried it.

Now instead of 25 cents paperbacks are 8 bucks or more, don't fit into any pockets at all, and still have the problem of being bound so tightly you have to cram it open to read the inside parts of the lines.

Cow is working on a solution. Books will be leafy, green, have plenty of white space in the margins, and if dropped, will grow into trees.

Moo!

Edible books are a great idea! There are quite a few writers who ought to eat their words.

Or it could grow into more books.

Cow is astounded by the felicity and charm of her reader's posts.

Cow doesn't know how she missed the international edible books contest for six years but Kevin's link has inspired a whole post, to follow.

And yes, Cow DOES have pockets. Usually only used for carrying the odd Bunny or Biscuit Soldier though.

Moo!

I found a paperback copy of Brighton Rock that fits in my pocket at a cost of 25p.

Marvellous
