After just complaining the raccoons are more tame than the feral cat, last night instead of running off after eating dinner the feral cat came up to within a foot of Cow and sat down.
Amazing.
So, after two years, kitty has decided Cow can be trusted.
Moo!

Cats can be fickle creatures. If a recalcitrant kitty trusts you now, you know you're doing something right.
Ms Cow has become an honorary cat! Did catty sniff you? - that's always a good sign.
Bunny would like to be an honorary cat too.
Just because those long, long, twitchy tails look fun.
Hippity-hop!
He trusts you.
For now.
is that a random photo or is that the cat? Does it have a name?
What a gorgeous cat! Did you name him/her?
Kitty's fur is really shiny and beautiful because feral cat eats all the food Cow can't get her own cats to touch.
Cow admits she buys tins of sardines, alaskan salmon, chicken livers (kitty-favorite!) and odd bits of steak for feral kitty and he eats them all.
The tame house cats only want Purina.
And Doghouse, Cow thinks you are right, Cow must tread carefully...Supermom and Heather Feral Cat does not have a name yet.
It's only been 2 years, give her time! Cow isn't good at thinking up names. Suggestions are welcome!
Be careful to watch how the tail twitches when he's approaching. It might not be trust, it could just be an ambitious appetite.
Meow!
Beautiful cat
A name ... hmm..
How about "Felix." That's Latin for "lucky," which would be ironic because it's a black cat.
If he/she's unlucky, you could go with the Latin "infelix," which would be a good conversation point.
Just a suggestion.
have you ever read the blog of tetherdcow.com?
he's got a feral cat too

Will Feral.
Doghouse, doghouse, doghouse. Cow thinks you've been watching too many moovies with the kids. Funny though!
Cow has now named the cat Felix. Thank you Sandi!
Moo!
Felix is a good name
Sweet. Cow, I do feel honored. :)
