Underground

Unseen society. They move among us, the homeless. If you don't happen to be looking at a drainage ditch, deserted parking lot, wooded area, you don't know they're there.

Cow wants anyone who drops off animals to a parking lot thinking that someone will adopt them, to be rebuked, as the Bible says.

In The Year of Living Biblically A. J. Jacobs spent a year trying to follow ALL 700-some Biblical commandments. Laws prohibiting the wearing of wool mixed with linen were followed, as well as certain prohibitions regarding chairs.

Moo!

Yes ma'am. And on that note, I now have a yellow lab. He was dumped at our office. A week later, he's living with me. He growls at my poodle and chases cats. He's full grown. *sigh*

Wanna lab?

Yes, Cow is now feeding the 5 kittens living in the ditch some 'caring' soul dumped there.

It's very sad. You want to keep them all, but it's expensive and time-consuming and at some point you just reach critical mass and can't take any more.

Good luck with the lab. Poor fellow, glad that you took him home and fed him. It is so sad, he was somebody's pet, he had a home, and they put him out.

Perhaps the new animal shelter in Madison could take him, Clucky?

Moo!
