FYI - cable Internet is the best decision I've made on good service. It's the bomb.

Cow had cable internet.

After a few hundred hours on hold trying to reach a human at the cable company, Cow brought back her equipment.

Cow never had a problem with their internet service. The digital cable though went up and down as if out of spite, for entire weekends, days, etc.

...don't tell me that. I'm really starting to like cable internet. We're signed on to Comcast.

By the way, if you're ever trying to cut through the machine answering service, try hitting the pound key over and over, or the zero key. This has saved me untold hours of holding and/or dealing with a @#$@ answering service.
